Hello and Happy Spring!
I’m just back from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. WOW. It was an intense experience, but also one of the greatest learning opportunities one could possibly ask for. Instruction focused on Internation Cusine, and I can’t wait to work in more flavors from Asia, Mexico, and the Middle East into new camping recipes.
Back home in Oregon, the weather in the high desert has been pretty mixed. Sunny and 70s one day to snow the next morning. I’m still getting my spring turns in on the mountain, but also starting to do some hiking with my best pal, Ulli.
No one gets more excited about getting on the trail than my dog. He literally starts to squeal when we pull into the trailhead parking lots.
