Mix together flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Slowly drizzle in water until dough forms. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead into a round ball. Let rest in a lightly greased bowl for 1 hour.
While the dough is rising, start campfire or barbeque.
Divide dough into pieces. Roll into 2 pieces about 1/4 inch thick. Place on greased grill and bake for 5 minutes each side.
While the dough is baking on one side of the grill, brown sausage in small skillet.
Top dough with fontina cheese, then layer with potato and sausage. Return to grill and cover. Cook for another 5-7 minutes.
